A New Year Begins

September is here, and with it the start of a new year in the life of the church.

Tonight (Wednesday 2nd Sept) – House-groups are back after the summer break, meeting at various locations – please get in touch if you would like to come along.

Our Thursday morning Ladies Meeting starts back up again NEXT week (10th Sept).  Join us at the chapel any time from 10am for a 10:30am start.  Our speaker next week will be Gordon Cooke, and this term in our speaker meetings we will be having a series of character studies, looking at the women who are named as ancestors of Jesus (Matt 1).   Please see  here for more information.

Friday – First Steps starts back at 1:15pm in the church hall, Infant Club starts back at 6:15pm (also in the church hall) and Junior Club starts back at 6:30pm down at Willowbrook Primary School.  See here for more information about these clubs.

Sunday – our Sunday services  have continued as usual over the summer, but our Pastor is back with us this Sunday (6th Sept) at 10:30am and 6pm, finishing the series in John’s gospel in the morning, and in the Sermon on the Mount in the evening.  All are welcome to join us as we worship God together.   Sunday School also re-starts this weekend, from 12-1 pm in the upstairs hall – all children aged 3-16 are welcome to come.

A new Christianity Explored course will be starting in October, led by Gwydion.  Please get in touch if you are interested in coming  to find out more about what Christianity is all about.
