Summer break?

Apart from our Sunday services and mid-week Bible study & prayer meeting, most of our regular meetings during the week are now on a break for the summer.

As many of our folk will be off on holiday at various points, our kids clubs, ladies meetings, coffee morning and others will not take place during the school holidays.

So does this mean that the gospel work stops over the summer? Does God take a break? Certainly not! The task of ‘knowing Christ and making Him known’ continues. The door to door work continues on 27th July, and week by week the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ will be proclaimed at both the chapel and at Willowbrook Primary School.

While some of our regular ministries take a break there are fresh gospel opportunities taking place over the summer period. Each year a series of camps, conferences and beach missions take place resulting in hundreds of young people, and adults, hearing the gospel clearly declared. A number of our members are involved in camps this year as outlined below (the first ones start THIS SATURDAY!):

Beth Lewis is an officer on EMW Camp 1 (10-12 yr olds) at Woodcroft Christian Centre. 20th-27th July;15834_181463371921_7934444_n
